Woburn Bike Park

Woburn Bike Park at Aspley WoodsThe Woburn Bike Park jump area is located in the North-East Corner of Aspley Woods, not far from Milton Keynes and adjacent to the A5130 Woburn Road on the outskirts of Woburn Sands.

Exclusively for the use of cycling permit holders, Woburn Bike Park is one of the most exciting and challenging jump areas in the country and boasts a variety of jumps/downhill runs to challenge every level of rider. You can find out more about cycling permits here.

Set into the side of a steep bank within Aspley Woods, Woburn Bike Park has evolved over decades to offer a wide variety of downhill and trail routes with numerous berms, jumps and gaps to test the skills and bravery of all levels of rider. The natural terrain coupled with the local sandy soil has made it possible to create some spectacular and fast routes within a beautiful landscape surrounded by trees and ferns.

A New Beginning for the Woburn Bike Park!

Since May 2014 the then newly formed Woburn Bike Park Committee has managed, maintained and improved the jumps and downhill runs and the future of the Bike Park is now very bright indeed provided the new rules and conditions are strictly followed. The Committee has worked hard building the trust that’s needed to gain the confidence of the landowner and Greensand Trust and it’s crucial that a few stupid idiots don’t mess things up for us all.

Official, Sanctioned Digging

From May 2014, all digging and jump/trail construction within the jump area is co-ordinated through the Woburn Bike Park Committee. Prior approval must now be sought through the Committee from the Greensand Trust before any digging or trail building is carried out within this area.

All illegal digging or jump building will be removed immediately and may jeopardise any future construction in or use of this area. Those found digging illegally may face being banned from riding the area permanently. You have been warned.

Fully Open Again!

When you visit the Woburn Bike Park jump area you’ll see that it is currently under redevelopment and riding within this area of the woods is restricted to a small number of runs/routes.

Those routes now open are clearly indicated and graded one, two or three (one being the easiest, three hardest). See below.
